With Ceramtek being big Guinness fans the completion of this project, on budget and on time for Caddick Construction was as satisfying as a pint of the black stuff! Ceramtek had a vision to create a tiling academy to share our skills to try and plug the hole in the nationwide shortage of skilled labour in our industry. With blood, sweat, tears and sacrifice, New Beginnings Tiling Academy was created. Last week saw two graduates start on site on a 353 apartment block in Salford with our client Bridgestone Construction. The lads excelled on their first week due to attending the fully comprehensive tiling course at New Beginnings Tiling Academy. Ceramtek feels it is imperative, that as a company, it is fully committed to passing on it’s skills to help the construction industry to survive (It’s also fully encompassing to be able to change someone’s life by passing on your trade to the next generation ❤️) 👊🏼🙌🏼

Our work is nearly done helping ISG refurb the casino during testing times. Assisting from the day the contract was ordered until handover with our expert knowledge and proposals to achieve a high quality finish to this impressive project. Consulting on access for maintenance purposes by proposing near invisible access hatches, to water cutting tiles to achieve the perfect finish Ceramtek has offered expert advice throughout this project. New Year, New Project! Shot Tower, Chester 🏗🏭🏠

Ceramtek have secured their latest prestigious project, this time at the development of the Shot Tower site in Chester for CPUK. Chester’s iconic former leadworks site is the location for a high end 72 unit residential scheme. Ceramtek will be undertaking the tiling works to a high client specification utilising top of the range Porcelanosa tiles to deliver a quality end product. Work commences early 2020 😁 🙌🏼👏🏼👷🏼‍♂️

New Client! Baltic View, Liverpool kicks off for Ceramtek 🙌🏼

Ceramtek has secured tiling works on an exciting development in Liverpool’s thriving Baltic District. Our team has commenced tiling to 130 apartments with 203 tiled bathrooms for Crossfield Construction at Baltic View, Liverpool. Again assisting our new client’s commercial team with a value engineering option on the sites specification. Hopefully it’s the beginning of a strong working relationship between two local Liverpool companies striving for success in their sector 👊🏼💪🏻

Contract Secured! 🙌🏼 280 apartments in Cornbrook, Manchester 👍🏼

Ceramtek has secured the contract for 280 apartments, 462 bathroom pod tiling works at Cornbrook, Manchester for John Graham Construction. Ceramtek has forged yet another working relationship with a highly regarded main contractor. After impressing on Cornbrook’s sister scheme next door on Ellesmere St of 232 apartments and 389 bathrooms in 2018/2019 the Graham site team were keen to get Ceramtek on board to help deliver this project. It’s satisfying to know that all the hard work the Ceramtek team puts in to deliver demanding projects is recognised through repeat business 👍🏼☺️🙌🏼👏🏼💪🏻

Off to a flyer at Urmston Leisure Centre for ISG 🏃‍♂️ 🚀

Tiling works have commenced on the £7m refurbishment of Urmston Leisure for our highly regarded main contractor, ISG. Ceramtek proposed a value engineered specification on this project which was successful. Pairing HR Johnson tiles and BAL adhesives we were able to offer quality products at a competitive price. Ceramtek’s tilers have made a great start, working at a highly productive rate achieving the highest quality. Well done lads, keep up the good work 🙌🏼👏🏼🚀

Another Greene King Pub refurb for our trusted client Medlock FRB Ltd. Cherry Tree, Blackpool is another fast paced refurbishment programme that requires our team (Ben and Benji) to pull out all the stops!
The lads have been working round the clock, to assist Medlock in achieving the handover date for one of the UK’s biggest pub chains! (On one of the biggest bar aprons we’ve ever seen!)
